The Avian Influenza Control & Human Pandemic Preparedness and Response Project (AICP) was developed in March 2006 by the Federal Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Health and Information and National Orientation to help minimize the threat posed by H5N1 to humans and the poultry industry. The project distributes personal protective equipment etc supplied by USAID. The Commodity Tracking Officer would manage the logistics management information system for these commodities and help with the management of the AICP warehouse in Abuja.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and 3 years relevant experience
- Experience in managing a database or inventory control/stock management system
- Proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet software
- Literacy in MS Word, Access etc
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Duration
This is a full time position based in Abuja at the Ministry of Agriculture and lasts for one (1) year.
